Find the right AI software pathway for your organisation

Not every business needs the same AI approach. Our interactive fit-check asks five targeted questions about your goals, data maturity, and team structure — then recommends a concrete starting point. No jargon, no commitment, just clarity in under two minutes.

"We came in thinking we needed a full ML platform. The fit-check pointed us to a focused automation layer — it saved us five months and a significant budget overshoot."

Perspective

Why most AI software projects stall — and how to avoid it

The pattern is remarkably consistent. An organisation invests in a proof of concept, achieves promising lab results, then watches the initiative fade as it meets the friction of production systems, shifting priorities, and unclear ownership. We have seen this cycle in financial services, logistics, retail, and healthcare — and we have learned that the antidote is not better models. It is better framing.

Our engagements begin with a decision framework rather than a technical specification. We map the business outcome first, identify the minimum viable data surface, and define a success metric that the executive team actually cares about. Only then do we write the first line of code. This approach has helped our clients move from concept to measurable production value in a median of nine weeks across our last fifteen engagements.

"Their governance framework gave our board the confidence to greenlight a company-wide AI programme — something three previous vendors failed to achieve."
— Chief technology officer, regulated financial services, Scotland

Your journey with us

Every engagement follows a rhythm designed to reduce risk and accelerate learning. Here is how a typical relationship unfolds — though we adapt the pace and sequence to your reality.

Week 0–1

Discovery and alignment

We run a structured discovery session with your key stakeholders. The output is a one-page decision brief: the problem, the data, the success metric, and the recommended approach.

Week 2–4

Rapid prototype

A working prototype on real data. Not a slide deck — a functional system your team can interact with and critique. This is where assumptions get tested.

Week 5–8

Production hardening

We integrate with your existing systems, build monitoring, set up retraining pipelines, and run stress tests. The goal: a solution that survives first contact with live traffic.

Week 9+

Managed evolution

For managed engagements, we continue to monitor model performance, retrain on new data, and iterate on the feature set as your business evolves.

Common questions

Do we need a large dataset before engaging?
Not necessarily. Some of our most impactful projects started with modest datasets. During discovery we assess what you have, identify gaps, and often find that a well-structured small dataset outperforms a messy large one. If data collection is needed, we can design the capture strategy as part of the engagement.
How do you price engagements?
We use a fixed-fee model for defined scopes and a retained model for ongoing managed services. After the discovery session we provide a detailed proposal with a clear cost breakdown — no hourly billing surprises. Budget ranges typically start from £15,000 for a focused automation project.
Can you work with our existing tech stack?
Yes. We are platform-agnostic and have delivered solutions on AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises infrastructure. We integrate with existing data warehouses, APIs, and business systems rather than forcing a rip-and-replace approach.
What happens after the project ends?
For managed engagements, we continue to monitor, retrain, and evolve the solution. For project-based work, we provide a comprehensive handover including documentation, runbooks, and a support window to ensure your team is confident operating the system independently.
